The U.S. Department of Transportation’s ITS4US Deployment Program awarded Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) with the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), Gwinnett County, and the Statewide Independent Living Council of Georgia (SILCGA), $11.4 million to develop and deploy G‑MAP in Gwinnett County. The program advances innovative, multimodal mobility solutions that improve access for all travelers.

While currently deployed in Gwinnett County, G‑MAP has the potential for broader regional expansion. The platform is also open‑source, enabling transportation agencies, developers, or community partners nationwide or internationally to adapt and scale the technology.
